FAQs

How often should you cleanse your skin

Dermatologists recommend cleansing skin twice daily (once in the morning and once in the evening) to remove impurities and makeup. It’s important to cleanse your skin consistently to avoid build up of dirt and dead skin cells.

Should I use a water-based or oil-based cleanser?

Oil-based cleansers – like our Cream Cleanser – are best-suited to all skin types, including those with oily skin. They provide a deep cleanse and help to break down oil-based impurities (such as excess sebum) while keeping your skin’s natural oils intact. On the other hand, water-based cleansers target water-soluble impurities on the skin’s surface. They can rinse away the skin’s natural oils so are best suited to those with oilier skin.

Can cream cleansers remove SPF?

Yes. Most sunscreens are oil soluble, so they’re best removed with cleansing balms or creamy cleansers. If your sunscreen is water-soluble, a water-based cleanser or micellar water can be used to remove it.
