FAQs

How often should you cleanse your skin?

Dermatologists recommend cleansing skin twice daily (once in the morning and once in the evening) to remove impurities and makeup. It’s important to cleanse your skin consistently to avoid the build-up of dirt, excess oils and dead skin cells.

Should I use a water-based or oil-based cleanser?

Oil-based cleansers – like our Cream Cleanser – are suitable for all skin types. They deeply cleanse, while breaking down oil-based impurities (such as excess sebum), keeping your skin’s natural oils intact.

Water-based cleansers target water-soluble impurities on the skin’s surface. This means they can rinse away the skin’s natural oils, so those with dry skin should avoid these types of cleansers.

Can cream cleansers remove SPF?

Yes! Most sunscreens are oil soluble, so cleansing balms and creamy cleansers will remove them easily.

If your sunscreen is water-soluble, you can use a water-based cleanser or micellar water to remove it.
